The barriers to afford a memorable graduation experience go hand-in-hand with the barriers to afford post-secondary education. The women, girls, and 2SLGBTQ+ graduates who participate in The Princess Shop's Dress Program will experience an exceptional graduation day to transition into the next chapter of their lives. This is where the rest of our community comes in. With your help, we can assist in breaking down barriers to education by providing educational and living scholarships, as well as work placements, to assist graduates in this important transition, decreasing debt and increasing the quality of life. Participants in The Princess Shop's Dress Program will have access to application forms, as set by sponsoring companies.
The first scholarship was awarded in 2009. Over the years this program has grown and over $130,000 in scholarships, bursaries and awards have been provided to female graduates.
Scholarships and workshops are open for any female graduates who have participated in our Dress Program from 2008-2023 to apply. We understand that not everyone is ready to attend post-secondary immediately after high school, so we are happy to offer this program to all graduates no matter what year you graduated and accessed the Dress Program! For information on how to apply contact info@theprincessshop.ca.
