Can you help?
The Princess Shop is currently in need of a few things for this graduation season – and moving forward!
Plus-size gowns
Many Princess Graduates fall in the dress size 18-24 range, and we are in short supply of dresses in this size.
Shoes
We finally have the space to expand our shoe inventory – and we could certainly use some more donations! Formal shoes that are less than five years old and only gently used are welcome donations!
Seamstress
The Princess Shop is currently looking for a seamstress or tailor to do some minor mending and alterations as a sponsor of the dress program.
Please call 222.3311 if you can help with any of the above.
Much love from The Princess Shop

What is the Fairy Godmother Program?
The Fairy Godmother Program connects successful and influential women from our community with Princess Graduates. The relationships formed will give the Fairy Godmother the opportunity to provide answers to the Princess Graduate’s questions, share life lessons and resources, and offer friendship. The program’s mission is to provide the Princesses with the needed self-awareness, self-confidence, motivation, and life skills to accomplish their goals. As such, the Fairy Godmother plays a special role in bringing these ambitions to reality.
Who would make a great Fairy Godmother?
There is no particular skill set that we are looking for in an Fairy Godmother. A Fairy Godmother sees the value in mentorship and the impact it has had on her own life and is looking for a unique way to pay that forward.
A Fairy Godmother is:
- Established and successful in her career and personal life
- Open-minded
- Patient
- Flexible
- Has life lessons and experiences to share with a Princess Graduate
- Would like to learn from a Princess Graduate as well
A Fairy Godmother would like to make a special contribution to the life of a Princess Graduate by providing friendship and advice.
If you have any questions or require additional information, please do not hesitate to contact Rayne either by email or at 222.3311.

Fairy Godmother Program
Hello friends of The Princess Shop!
On behalf of Rayne Robertson, I am very excited to announce the launch of The Princess Shop’s Fairy Godmother Program pilot this June! Rayne Robertson is The Princess Shop’s new Fairy Godmother Program Coordinator for this mentorship-type initiative.`
The Princess Shop plans to implement a pilot phase of the Fairy Godmother Program this year, so just a few matches will be made as we move through this trial period and learn more about how the program will be able to run in full force next year. For this program year, Fairy Godmothers should be prepared to meet with their Princess Graduates at least twice per month from June to December, 2010. For more information regarding expectations and time commitments, etc. please see the Information Package on the Fairy Godmother Program webpage.
If you are male, or are not interested at this time, please consider promoting this program with bright, successful, women who are passionate about our community, and have life experiences to share with young women in The Princess Shop’s program! We are on a slightly tight timeline to make some matches in the next couple of weeks, so I appreciate your haste in promoting this mentorship-type program.
If you are interested, please review the Information Package and complete an Application Form. You can find both of these documents on the Fairy Godmother Program webpage.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact Rayne: rmr679@mail.usask.ca or 306.238.7629.
Much love from The Princess Shop.
