The Dress Program is the flagship program of The Princess Shop. We rely greatly on the community to support us by donating dresses, shoes, and accessories, so that we can provide a memorable graduation experience for disadvantaged young women in Saskatchewan.
We are proud to announce a new partnership with Exquisite Fashions & Bridal which has graciously offered to accept donations on behalf of The Princess Shop. Exquisite Fashions & Bridal carry dresses for every occasion and have been a reliable supporter of The Princess Shop since opening in Saskatoon. We would like to thank Exquisite Fashions & Bridal for their support and their willingness to stand with us and help us make a difference in our community!
To donate to The Princess Shop through Exquisite Fashions & Bridal, please print and fill out a donation form here and drop it off during their office hours at their location: 1202B 33rd St. & Québec Ave.
Having the local business community accepting donations on our behalf allows more convenience for our dress donors, so we are very appreciative and excited to work with Exquisite Fashions & Bridal!
Looking for information about our programs and events? See below for more information about our dress program and how to donate dresses!
Donating Dresses
We love to accept dress donations! It keeps our inventory fresh and interesting for each year's Princess Graduates. Please consider donating a dress that you think a 2015 or 2016 graduate would wear (less than 5 years old, cleaned, and in great condition). If you provide your contact information, we will send you a photo of a Princess Graduate in your dress when it is selected by a Princess Graduate, upon her consent. Please click here for more information. During office closures, please drop off donated dresses at our Primrose Pizza Hut or Exquisite Fashions & Bridal drop-off locations
The Dress Program
The Princess Shop’s Dress Program lends donated dresses and accessories to female graduates in need, to enhance their graduation experience. The organization hopes to find the perfect dress for every young woman who requires services. Princess Graduates have the opportunity to be lent a graduation dress, accessories, shoes, etc. donated by members of our community. Please click here to learn more about our dress program.

The Kinsmen Club of Saskatoon have been a major sponsor of The Dress Program since the 2011-2012 graduation season! This commitment and support has allowed The Princess Shop to grow and flourish over the years! With this year being out biggest year, we are proud to have over 120 participants in The Dress Program and are excited for a full week of graduation celebrations next week!
The Kinsmen Club’s mandate is to "Serve the Community's Greatest Need.” As an organization that supports disadvantaged women during the important transition from high school to the “real world”, we are lucky to be among Kinsmen Club of Saskatoon’s supported nonprofit and community groups in the city. While their sponsorship goes to the Dress Program, it leads the way and opens the doors to The Princess Shop’s Fairy Godmother Program and Next Chapter Program!
As a nonprofit group themselves, the Kinsmen Club of Saskatoon puts on many initiatives throughout the year to raise funds that will go directly back into the community. Their current event is the Kinsmen Home Lottery - there is still time to participate for your chance to win a dream home, Dodge Viper, vacations, and many more great prizes!
Thank you, Kinsmen Club of Saskatoon, for your loyal support and commitment to the Saskatoon community!

One of Cameco’s top priorities as an organization in Saskatchewan, is its perpetual involvement in the community. Whether that means putting on large fundraising events or sponsoring local nonprofit organizations in the community.
The Princess Shop is proud to be chosen by Cameco for the second year in a row for sponsorship of the Dress Program. As a Diamond Sponsor, Cameco ensures that we can continue to provide a memorable graduation experience for disadvantaged women who are looking to celebrate the amazing accomplishment of high school graduation equivalent to their peers.
The Dress Program is important in more ways than just one (looking and feeling great). The dress symbolizes more than self-confidence and self-esteem, and equates to a sense of accomplishment so young women in need in Saskatchewan can understand their potential and value, and become motivated to pursue further success.
More doors open to these amazing women because of the Dress Program, as well! The Fairy Godmother Program is an additional service that provides mentorship opportunities, with monthly planned activities for matches. This allows support, guidance and continuous goal setting and pursuits during this important life transition. Lastly, our Next Chapter Program gives Princess Graduates a leg up with exclusive scholarships, bursaries, work placement opportunities, and financial literacy workshops!
All of this would not be possible without the great help from our friends at Cameco.
